British former footballer and TV presenter Alex Scott has been unveiled as a High Profile Supporter for UNICEF UK, after first getting involved with the charity during Soccer Aid for UNICEF in 2020.

Scott visited the Galz and Goals women’s football programme in Namibia in May 2022, meeting girls on the programme and seeing where the money raised through Soccer Aid for UNICEF goes, and commented 'I know from personal experience how important it is when someone believes in you. For me that’s what Soccer Aid and UNICEF is all about. Making sure that every child knows they’re worth believing in'.
